Spina Bifida is the most common permanently disabling defect in the United States.   EVERY DAY 8 BABIES ARE BORN WITH SPINA BIFIDA IN THE U.S.

The mission of the Spina Bifida Association of Northwest Ohio is to promote the prevention of Spina Bifida and enhance the lives of all affected.

Our Business

The Spina Bifida Association of Northwest Ohio has undergone many changes over the course of the last few years.  We are making every effort to grow our chapter and make it a recognizable name.  Ideas?  Feel free to contact us...we'd love to hear from you.

Most of our board staff is new, comprising of parents with children affected by Spina Bifida and who also have full time careers.

We have a new format for newsletters and are attempting to go green by electronically sending newsletters to members.

Our Strategic Plan has been written to map our where we want to be in the next 5 years.  Check it out and see what you think!
