Spina Bifida Association of Northwest Ohio

There are many ways to contribute to the Spina Bifida Association.

1. Become a member.  You're membership dues help us defray the cost of the Insights magazine featuring articles and reasearch about Spina Bifida and what's going on nationally.  You will have access to medical supplies and equipment from our 'lending closet'.  You will also have access to monetary help to purchase equipment that insurance doesn't completely pay for.  Join now!
2. Buy a tee shirt.  Our tees are custom made and designed by Harley Designs.  It features our logo and website to promote awareness of this neural tube defect.  The tees are white, but can be printed on anything from sewatshirts, hoodies, bibs, etc.  See the front and back view below of the tees!
3. Donate.  Your donation helps our chapter provide services and funds to spina bifida families that need our help.  It also helps us educate, promote awareness and prevention of Spina Bifida in our area. 
4. Volunteer.  There are many ways to help out the chapter.  Volunteering your time doesn't cost anything but time to you, but is a valuable asset to us.  There are always things we need help with from building shelving for storage, serving on the board, sending out mailings, to creating marketing designs and helping out at awareness events and fundraising events.

Busy People Hard At Work

February 24, 2008 members got together to make beaded awareness bracelets.  That day over 50 bracelets were made...everyone had a ton of fun.  Those bracelets are sold at awareness events....made by the families for the families...
